PC R 94-1494RF,SOLUTION NO. 94-1494 A R�SOLUTION Or THE PI,ANNll�iG COMMrSSION OF TI-iE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE PROVIDING AN INTERPRETATION OF TI-IC DEVELOPMENT CODE TI�AT A RETAIL SALFS BUSINESS IS A PERMITTED USE, AT 143 SOUTH MASON STREET, IN THC OFFICE YItOFrSSIONAL ZON� WHEREAS, the Development Code was adopted by the City Council on May 14, 1991, and became effective on June 13, 1991; and WHEREAS, Section 9-01.110 (G)(3) of the Development Code provides the Planning Commission with tl�e authority to clarify ambiguities in the Title; and WI-IEREAS, Development Code Table 9-07.030-A lists uses permitted in the Office Professional zone; and WH�REAS, The Planning Commission has received a request for interpretation of whether a retail business that sells herbal vinegars, herbs grown on tl�e property and gift items can operate in tl�e Office Professional zone; and WII�REAS, the Planning Commission, after due research and deliberation finds that: 1 2. The proposed use is similar to other uses permitted in tl�e Office Professional zone. The proposed use is no more objectionable than other uses permitted in the Office Professional zone. NOW, TIiEREFOR�, B� IT R�SOLV�D that the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande hereby makes tl�e interpretation that the retail sales business descriUed above is a permitted use in tl�e Of�ce Professional zone.
