PC R 94-1481RF.SOLUTION NO. 94-1481 A RCSOLUTION OF TI-I� PLANNING COMMISSION OT 1'HE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE PROVIDING AN INTERPRETATION OF CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL NUMI3ERS 9 AND 10 OF FLANNING COMMISSION �ZE,SOLUTION NUMB�R 92-1380 FOR TENTATIV� PARCEL MAP CASE NO. 92-503 WI-I�REAS, the Planning Commission on August 18, 1992 approved Resolution Number 92-1380 approving Tentative Parcel Map Case No. 92-503; and WI-I�REAS, Said approval was based on recommendations and conditions provided by the Staff Advisory Committee; and WHER�AS, Conditions of approval 9 through 13 were recommended by the Fire Department; and WIIEK�AS, The Director of Building and Fire has requested the Planning Commission to provide an interpretation of conditions 10 and 13; and WH�REAS, the Planning Commission, after due research and deliberation finds that: 1. The California Fire Code contains requirements regulating fire department access to various land uses and provides recognized alternatives when access requirements cannot be met; and 2. The wording of conditions 10 and 13 was meant to allow the Fire C}�ieE tl�e flexibility needed to meet the requirements of the California Fire Code. NOW, TIIEREFORE, BE IT RFSOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande hereby makes the interpretation that the Fire Chief has the ability based on the State Fire Code, to required or not require the yard hydrant specified in conditiun 13 and to modify the access requirements specified in condition 10 as appropriate.
