PC R 91-135714� RESOLUTION NO 13 5 7 RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION HONORING PEARL PHINNEY FOR HER OUTSTANDING SERVICE TO THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE WHEREAS, Pearl Phinney began her employment with the City of Arroyo Grande as a Clerk Typist in July, 1967; and WHEREAS, Pearl was employed as a Clerk Typist at the City's Corporation Yard for 2 1/2 years; and WHEREAS, Pearl has been employed as the Planning Department Secretary since that time; and WHEREAS, during her tenure with the City, Pearl has been a dedicated, loyal, and conscientious employee; and W�IEREAS, Pearl has assisted coundess members of the public with the planning process; and WHEREAS, over the last 21 1/2 years, Pearl has been acdvely involved with the evolution of the Planning Department, and spent coundess evenings at Planning Commission hearings; and WHEREAS, Pearl has provided continuity in the Planning Department, working with five different Planning Directors; and WHEREAS, Pearl has made the Planning Commission's job easier through her assistance and organizadon skills; and WHEREAS, Pearl P6inney, a highly regarderl individual, will be greatly missed by the Planning Commission and everyone in the Planning Department for her dedicated service over the years, along with her sense of responsibility to the public. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE PLANNING CONIlVIISSION OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE hereby recognizes, honors and commends PEARL PHINNEY for her undring efforts and guidance to safeguard our City during her tenure of service,, and for her dedicated service of 24 years to the City of Anoyo Grande, its officials, employees, and citizens, who have benefitted from her knowledge, compassion and expertise. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that we the undersigned do hereby wish to pay tribute and acknowledge the devotion, derlication, and extraordinary contributions that PEARL PHINNEY has made over the last 24 years to the City of Arroyo Grande and do heartily wish to express our sincere best wishes, good health, and contentment upon her retirement.
