PC R 91-133711� RFSOLUTION NO 91 3 7 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING CONIlVIISSION OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE RECONIlVIENDING THAT THE CITY COUNCIL ADOPT A NEGATIVE DECLARATION, ADOPT THE ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 9 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE TO FSTABLISH REGULATIONS FOR ADULT ENTERTAINMENT BUSINFSSES, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO FILE A NOTICE OF DETERIVIINATION WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande has held the required public hearing at its regular meeting of May 21, 1991, to consider a proposed Ordinance which amends Title 9 of the Municipal Code (Development Code) to establish regulations for Adult Entertainment Businesses; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission feels that it will promote the public safety and welfare to establish regulations for Adult Entertainment Businesses; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has found this ordinance is consistent with the General Plan and the Environmental Documents associatetl therewith; and WfIEREAS, the proposed Ordinance was reviewed in compliance with the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and it was determined that the project would result in no significant effects on the environment, and therefore the recommendation of a Negative Declaration is appropriate. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande hereby recommends to the City Council adoption of the Negative Declaration and approval of the attached ordinance (Exhibit A) which amends Title 9 of the Municipal Code to establish regulations for Adult Entertainment Businesses.
