Wf�.S, the Plaru►.ing Camussion of the City of Arroyo Grande has considered an application by Mid Coast Land Cornpany (Village Creek IV) for a Planned Sign Program at Station Way and Fair Qaks Avenue in the C-2 zone; and Wf�1tFAS, the Planning Corm►ission has found that this project is consistent with the General Plan and the Environmental Doc�its associated therewith; and ��.5, the project has been found to be exempt from the provisions of the California IIiviroruner►tal Quality Act (CDQ�1) per Section 15311; and �S, the Planning Camussion finds, after due study, deliberation and public hearing, the following circu�tances exist:� 1. The proposed signs Section 9-4.2407 of Sign Prograr� . are consistent with the intent and purpose of the Zoning Ordinance as it relates to Planned 2. The proposed signs are visually ca�npatible with the buildings they identify by utiliZing materials, colors or design motif included in the bui 1 ding . 3. Proposed signs car�ple�ment other existing or proposed signs on the site by using carmnon design elernerlts, such as materials, letter style, colors, ill,umination, sign type or shape. 4. Proposed signs are compatible with surrounding land uses and will riot abscure adjacent conforming signs. NCW, ��ORE, BE IT RESOLVID that the Planning Comnission of the City of Arroyo Grande hereby approves said Planned Sign Program, subject to appropriate standard conditions of the City of Arroyo Grande, and the following special conditions: General Coaruiitiaans: l. � The applicant shall ascertain and ca�ly with all State, Cowlty and City requirenents as are applicable to the project. Developnent shall occur in substantial confo�n►ance with the plans presented to the Planning Cormussion at the meeting of February 20, 1990 and marked "Exhibit A".
