F��R�l.S, the Planning CaTmissioon of the City of Arroyo Grande has
considered an application by Arroyo Town & County Sc��are at 1412 Grand Avenue
in the C-2, General Cam�ercial District; and
WE�A.S, the Planning Co�Ymission has found that this project is
consistent with the General Plan and environmental docwrents associated
therewith; and
WI�RFAS, the Planning Comnission finds, after due study, deliberation
and public hearing, the following circtunstances exist:
1. The proposed sign is not consistent with the intent and purpose of
Section 9-4.2407 of the Zoning Ordinance as it relates to Planned Sign
PrograTt�s. Specifically, cran�unent signs are not permitted for individual
tenants of a shopping ccx�lex.
2. The proposed sign does no catipliment other existing signs on the
property, in that it does not use comnon design elements such as colors,
materials and sign type.
NQ�1, �E, BE IT R}�OLVI� that the Planning Carmission of the City of
Arroyo Grande hereby denies said Conditional Use Permit.
