PC R 89-12421 �2� RESOLUTION N0. 89-1242 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COIiMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE RECOIi1�IEHDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL ADOPTION OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION AND ADOPTION OF AN ORDINANCE AHENDING CEAPTER 4 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE (ZONING ORDINANCE) TO AHEND SECTION 9-4.2613, ESTABLISHING RSCREATIONAL VEHICLE PARKING STANDARDS; AND TO ADD SECTION 9-4.2616, ESTABLISHING STANDARDS FOR DESIGN OF PARRING STRUCTURES. WHSREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande has held the required public hearing at its regular meetinq of September 5, 1989, to consider a proposed ordinance which amends Article 26, of the Zoning Ordinance to establish standards for recreational vehicle parking and for the design of parking structures; and KHEREAS, the Planning Commission feels that the public interest and general Welfare do require such an amendment; and WHEREAS, the proposed ordinance was reviewed in compliance with the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), and it was determined that the project would result in no significant effects on the environment and, therefore, the recommendation of a Negative Declaration is appropriate. NOW, THERSFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande hereby recommends approval of said ordinance and amendment to the Zoning Ordinance subject to the findings listed below: 1. 2. 3. The proposed ordinance is consistent with the General Plan; and The proposed ordinance bears a reasonable relationship to the public welfare. The proposed ordinance will not have a significant adverse impact on the environment.
