RESOLUTION NO. 1196
A RFSOLUTION OF THE PLANNIIIG OOMII�SSION OF
THE CTT'Y OF AR.ROYO GRANDE GR.ANTTNG � VIEWSHED
REVIEW P'ERM1T NO. 88-2, APPLIED FOR BY SYLVIA
BURSINGER AND JOEL MEDINGER AT 1365 HILLCRFSf
DRIVE.
WHERF.AS, the Plaruiing Cc�mission of the City of Arroyo Grande has considered a
Viewshed Review Pernrit No. 88-2, filed by S�lvia Bursinger and Joel Medinger, to enlarge an
eidsting residence by 538 square feet at 1365 Hillcrest Drive in the ft-1-D Single Farruly
Residential District with a Desig�n Development Overlay; end
WI�ERF.AS, the Planning Canmission has held a public hearing on this application in
accot�3ance with the G�ty Code; and
WHERF.AS, the Planning Conmassion finds that the following cirewrstances exist:
1. The proposed structure is consistent with the intent of Section 9-4.4101.
2. The proposed structure is consistent with the established scale and character of
the neighborhood, and w�11 not unreasonebly or unnecesst�rily affect views of
surrounding properties.
3. The proposed structure will not unreasonably or unnecesstirily interfere with the
scenie view from any other property, judged in light of perrrritting reasonable use
and development of the property on which the proposed structure or expansion is
to occur.
NOW, �.ftEFORE, BE 1T RFSOLVED that the Planning Commi.5sion of the
G�ty of Arroyo Grande hereby approves said Viewshed Pernrit subject to the standArd conditions
of the City and those listed below:
1. The development of the site shall occur in substantial conformance with the
plans approved by the Planning Carrrtission on Au�st 16, 1988.
On motion by Corrmassioner Boggess, seconded by Cafarussioner Scott, and by the
following roll call vote, to wit:
AYFS: Camri��.sioners Olsen, Moore, Scott, Boggess and Chairman Soto
NOFS: None
ABSENT: Carmis�ioners Flores and Gerrish
the foregoing Resolution w�ss adopted this 16th day of August, 1988.
