RESOLUTION NO. 84-97g
A RESOLUTION OF THE PL�INNING COMMISSION OF THF. CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE APPROVING ZONE VARIANCE APPLICATION NO.
84-96, FILED BY STEVE PFAAR.
�•JHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande has
considered Zone Variance Application No. 84-96, filed by Steve Pfaar for
a Variance to Section 9-4.608 (b) of the City of Arroyo Grande Code; and
Tr7F�EREAS, the Commission has held a public hearing on this application in
accordance with the City Code; and
l�]HEREAS, the Commission finds that the following conditions do exist:
1. There are exceptional circumstances applying to the land, buildings
or use referred to in the application which do not apply generally
to other land, buildings or uses in the same district.
2. The granting of this variance is necessary for the preservation and
enjoyment of substantial property rights of the applicant.
3. The granting of this application will not under the terms and
conditions of this particular case, materially affect adversely
the health or safety of persons residing in or working in the
neighborhood, and will not be materially detrimental to the
public welfare or injurious to property or improvements in said
neighborhood.
4. The granting of this application will not be contrary to the
General Plan
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of
Arroyo Grande hereby approves said zone variance subject to standard conditions.
The decision of the Planning Commission is final unless appealed in accordance
with the provisions of the Arroyo Grande City Code.

and by the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Commissioners Benhardt, Carr, Fischer, Moore, Moots, Olsen and
Chairman Gerrish
