RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE RECOMMENDING DENIAL OF
AN AMENDMENT TO THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE AS PROVIDED BY CHAPTER 4, ZONING,
ARTICLE 32 OF SAID CODE.
WHEREAS, the Planning Corrunission of-the City of Arroyo Grande, California
has h�ld a public hearing on the application of Richard DeBlauw to amend the
Municipal Code of the City of Arroyo Grande as provided by Chapter 4 7oning,,
Article 32 of said Code, to rezone all of that property described as follows
from "RA-B3" Residential Agricultural District (40,000 sq, ft. min. bldg. site)
to "RA-B2" Residential Agricultural District (20,000 sq. ft. min. bldg. site):
In the City of Arroyo Grande, County of Sari Luis
Obispo, State of California, Parcel 1 of Parcel
Map No. AG 74-1. Also identified by Assessor`s
Parcel No. 7-791-24 and known as 401 Prin.tz Road.
WHEREA�, the Planning Commission feels that the public interest and
gener.al welfare does.not require such an amendment, and
WHEREAS, the Commission minutes including a list of_ persons who
tes.tified at the publi.c hearing, summary of fact and fi_ndings, and copies
of any maps pertinent are on file and hereby declared to be part of said
Resolution. •

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Said Planning Commission hereby
recommends denial of the amendment as applied for, for the following
reas.on:
l. Proposed rezoning would constitute spot zoning.
On motion by Commissioner Moore, seconded by Commissioner Carr,
and by the followiny roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Commissioners Benhardt, Carr, Moore, Moots and
Vice Chairperson Cole
NOES: Commissioner Pilkington
ABSENT: Chairman Gerrish
