P�ESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING CO."�IMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF AN AMEidD^QENT TO THE MUNICIPAL
CODE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRAND� AS PROVIDED BY CHAPTER 4
ZONING, ARTICLE 32 OF SAID CODE.
WHEkEAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande, California
tias held a public hearing on the appl:ication of Joseph B. Morgan to amend the
Municipal Code of the City of Arroyo Grande as provided by Chapter 4, Article '
32 of said Code to zone all that property described as follows from "R-1"
Single Family Residential District to "R-2-D" Duplex Residential - Design
Development District:
In the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis
Obispo, State of California, identified by
�County Assessor's Parcel Pdumber 7-501-05. Also
known as 528 E. Branch Street.
WHEREAS, the Commission minutes including list of persons who testified
at the Public Hearing, summary of fact and findings and copies of any maps
pertinent to the proposal are attached and hereby declared to be part of said
Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Planning Commission hereby
recommends approval of the amendmerit for the followirig reason:
1. Zone change to "R-2-D" District would be compatible to and
in keeping with surrounding developments, zoning and Land
Use Plan
Subject to the following condition:
1. Development limited to a maximum of six (6) units.
On motion by Commissioner P�oots, seconded by Commissioner Benhardt, and
by the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Commissioners Benhardt, Cole, Moots, Pilkington and
Chairman Gerrish
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: Commissioner Sebastian
ABSENT: Commissioner Saruwatari
