PC R 81-868 GPoo� RESOLUTION NO. 81-868 GP RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNILIG COP4MISSION OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE RECOMMENDING DENIAL OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN. „ WHEFtEAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande has held the required public hearing at their regular meeting of October 6, 1981 to corisider an amendment to the General Plan Land Use Element Map on the following described property:. In the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, identified by County Ass:essor's Parcel Numbers 77-341-35, 77-341-47 and 77-341-48. Also known as 1385 Brighton Avenue. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission feels that the public interest and general welfare does not require such an amendment; and WHEREAS, the Commission minutes including a list of persons who testified at the public hearing, summary of fact and findings, and copies of any maps pertinent to the proposal are on file and hereby declared to be part of said Resolution. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Planning Commission hereby recommends as follows: That the General Plan Land Use Element Map not be amended by changing the classification of certain areas described in Paragraph 1 above from Los Density Residential Land Use Designation to High Density Residential Land Use Designation, for the following reason: l. Change would be too dense, and would not be compatible to and in keeping �eith the existing land use. Or, motion by Conunissioner bioots, seconded by Commissioner Pilkington, and by the following roll call vote to wit: AYES: Commissioners Moots and Pilkington NOES: Commissioner Benhardt and Vice Chairperson Cole ABSENT: Commissioners Saruwatari and Sebastian, and Chairman Gerrish the foregoing Resolution was defeated this 6th day of October 1981 due to a split vote. �1TTEST: ` � �� � � ~Q 4�� � ��4�t�c/ Secretary Chairman f
