RESOLUTION NO.� 81-848 V
RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE GRANTING A VARIANCE, CASE NO. 81-78.
The Planning Commission finds that the Variance applied for by Wes
Johnson at 338 Walnut Street meets the requirements of Section 7.3 of
the Arroyo Grande Zoning Ordinance as amended, to reduce the required lot
width from 60 ft. to 55 ft, and to 15 ft. for an access flag lot in the
"R-1" Single Family Residential District on the following described
property:
In the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis
Obispo, State of California, the north 1/2 of Lot
3, Block 3 of the Fair Oaks Tract. Also identified
by Assessor's Parcel No. 77-182-20.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that:
(.a) The granting of said application does not constitute a grant of
special privilege inconsistent with limitations upon other properties in
the vicinity and same zoning in which this property is located, and (b)
that because there are special circumstances applicable to the property
(size the strict application of
the Zoning Ordinance does deprive applicant's property of privileges
enjoyed by other properties in the vicinity and in the same zoning classi-
fication.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the
City of Arroyo Grande hereby recommends the approval of said Variance
application.
On motion by Commissioner Cole, seconded by Commissioner Pilkington,
and by the following roll call vote, to wit:
