RESOLUTION OF THE CITY�OF'ARROYO GRANDE PLANNING
COMMISSION RECOMI�NDING APPROVAL OF AN AMENDMENT
TO THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
AS PROVIDED BY CHAPTER�4 ZONING', ART�ICLE 32 OF SAID
CODE.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande, California

has held a public hearing on the application of Crown Hill Investors to amend
the Municipal Code of the City of Arroyo Grande as provided by Chapter 4,
Article 32 of said Code to rezone all that property described as follows from
"R-G" Garden Apartment District to "R-3" Multiple Family Distric�t:
In the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, -
State of California, Lots 1, 2, 3; 4, 5,-6, 7, 10, 11, 12,
13 and 14, all in Block 28A of Beckett's Crown Hill-Addition
to the Town of Arroyo Grande per Book A, Page 57 of Maps,
including abandoned portions of Harrison Street and,Le-Point
Terrace. Also identified by Assessor's Parcel Nos. 07-262-04,
07-262-21,-07-262-53 and 07-262-66, and known as 523 Crown-
Street.

WHEREAS, the Planning Corcrtnission,feels that the public interest and general
welfare does require such an amendment; and
WHEREAS, the Commission minutes including a list of persons who testified
at the public hearing, summary-of fact and findings, and copies of any maps
pertinent to the proposal are on file and hereby declared to be part of said
Resolution. �
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Planning Commission hereby recom-
mends approval of the amendment as applied for, for the following reasons:
l. Zone Change to "R-3" Multiple Family District would be compatitile
to and in keeping with surrounding developments and in conformance
with the Land Use Element of the General Plan.
. On motion by Commissioner Gerrish, seconded by Commissioner Pilkington,
and by the following roll call vote, to wit:
