RESOLUTION N0, 80-766 Z
has held a public hearing on the application of Philip Sternbergh to amend the
Municipal Code of the City of Arroyo Grande as provided by Chapter 4, Article
32 of said Code to pre-zone all that property described as follows to "R-1"
Single Family Residential District:
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande, California
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE PLANNING
COMMISSION RECOMNNIENDING APPROVAL OF AN AMENDMENT
TO THE MUNICIPAL CODE�OF THE CIT.Y OF ARROYO GRANDE
AS PROVIDED BY CHAPTER 4 ZONING, ARTICLE 32, OF
SAID CODE.
"In the County of San Luis Obispo, State of California,
Assessor's Pareel No. 78-302-05, that portion of Lot A
of the town of Grover, according to the ma.p filed 'in
Book A of Maps at Page 6, records of San Luis Obispo
County, California. Also designated as Chilton Street
Annexation No. 1 to the City of Arroyo Grande, and kriown
as 1485 Chilton Street. (Sternbergh)."
WHEREAS, the Co�nission minutes including list of persons who testified
at the Public Hearing, summary of fact and findings and copies of any maps
pertinent to the proposal are attached and hereby declared to be part of said
Resolution.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Planning Commission hereby recom-
mends approval of the amendment for the following reason:
1. P�e-zone change to "R-1" District would be compatible to and in
keeping with surrounding developments, zoning and Land Use Plan.
On motion by Commissioner Cole, seconded by Co�nissioner Pilkington, and
by the following roll call vote, to wit:
