RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE RECOMMENDING AN AMENDMENT TO SUB-
I�2VISION ORDINANCE, SECTION 9-3.503, SUBSECTION (b).
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande has held
the required public hearing at their regular meeting of August 5, 1980 on
the proposed amendment to the Subdivision Ordinance, Sec. 9-3.503, "Optional
Design and Improvement Standards", Subsection (b), by adding the following
sentence:
"In the case of condominiums, the Commission may authorize
reduction in the minimum floor area of not less than 500
square feet, but with no increase in density in the overall
development."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the
City of Arroyo Grande hereby recommends approval of the amendment for the
following reason:
1. To legally permit the use of the Optional Design Standards for
the purpose of condominium projects.
On motion by Commissioner Cole, seconded by Commissioner Gerrish, and
by the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Commissioners Cole, Gerrish, Moots, Pilkington and
Chairman Gorsline
NOES: None
ABSENT: Commissioners Fischer and Sebastian
