RESOLUTION NO. 80-731 Z
RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF AN AMEND-
MENT TO THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE AS PROVIDED BY CHAPTER 4, ZONING, ARTICLE 32
OF SAID CODE.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande, California
has held a public hearing on the application of Reuben Kvidt to amend the Munici-
pal Code of the City of Arroyo Grande as provided by Chapter 4, Article 32, of
said Code to modify certain areas as follows previously approved under Ordinance
No. 140 C. S.:
Lots 1 and 2 currently zoned Planned Development ("H-S" Highway Service
District) totaling 13.30 acres to a revised acreage of 17.07, and to further
modify Lot 3 currently zoned Planned Development ("P-C" Professional Commercial
District) totaling 12.48 acres to a revised acreage of 8.47 acres. Said pro-
posed amendment to the Municipal Code shall not preclude the Planning Commission
to reconsider previous approvals to Parcels 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12,�13 and
14 as defined in Exhibits B and C attached to Ordinance 140 C. S. and Subdivision
Map #604.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission feels that the public interest and
general welfare does require such an amendment; and
WHEREAS, the Commission minutes including a list of persons who testified
at the public hearing, summary of fact and findings, and copies of any maps perti-
nent to the proposal are on file and hereby declared to be part of said Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Planning Commission hereby
recommends approval of the amendment as applied for, for the following reasons:
l. Zone change as described in Paragraph 1 above would be in
keeping with the Land Use Element of the General Plan.
2. Change would be compatible to and in keeping with the surrounding
developments and zoning.
On motion by Commissioner Cole, seconded by Commissioner Simmons, and by
the following roll call vote, to wit:
