RESOLUTION NO. 80-723 V
RESOLUTION OF THE.PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE GRANTING A VARIANCE, CASE NO. 80-64.
The Planning Commission finds that the Variance applied for by Lester
White on Printz Road meets the requirements of Section 7.3 of the Arroyo
Grande Zoning Ordinance as amended, to allow 100 ft. lot width in an "A"
Agricultural District on the following described property:
In the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State
of California, the northwest 100.33 ft. of Lot 11 of the Sub-
division of a part of Lot 73 of the Ranchos Corral de Piedra,
the property of H. A. Vachell. Property also identified by
Assessor's Parcel No. 7-781-04.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that:
•(a) The granting of said application does not constitute a grant of
special privilege inconsistent with limitations upon other properties in the
vicinity and same zoning in which this property is located, and (b) that because
there are special circumstances applicable to the property (size-shape-topography-
location-surroundings) the strict application of the Zoning Ordinance does deprive
applicant's property of privileges enjoyed by other properties in the vicinity
and in the same zoning classification.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City
of Arroyo Grande hereby recommends the approval of said Variance application.
On motion by Commissioner Sebastian, seconded by Commissioner Moots, and
by the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Commissioners Carr, Fischer, Moots, Sebastian, Simmons
and Chairman Gorsline
NOES: None
ABSENT: Commissioner Cole
the foregoing Resolution was adopted this 5th day of February 1980.
