RESOLUTION NO. 79-713 V
RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE GRANTING A VARIANCE, CASE NO.
79-62.
The Planning Commissian finds that the Variance applied for by Walter
S. Engle at 1340 Sierra Drive meets the requirements of Section 7.3 of the
Arroyo Grande Zoning Ordinance as amended, to exceed the cross slope require-
ments of the Subdivision Ordinance of the City of Arroyo Grande, Section
9-3.403A(2) on the following described property:
In the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis
Obispo, State of California, Parcel 2 as shown on
Preliminary Parcel Map of the Division of a Portion
of Lot 1, Block 5, Tract 46. Also identified by
Assessor's Parcel No. 77-033-01 and 1340 Sierra Drive
(a) in that it does not constitute a grant of special privilege inconsistent
with limitations upon other properties in the vicinity and same zoning in
which this property is located, and (b) that because there are special circum-
stances applicable to the property (size-shape-topography-location-surroundings)
the strict application of the Zoning Ordinance does deprive applicant's property
of privileges enjoyed by other properties in the vicinity and in the same zoning
classification, and grants said Variance subject to the following conditions:
1:...,'.That applicant resubmit his lot split application.
2. That approval of the lot split be subject to approval of a
grading plan by the City Engineer
for the following reason:
1. Would not adversely affect abutting properties.
