required public hearing at their regular meeting of August 7, 1979 and August
WHEREAS, the Planning Co�nission of the City of Arroyo Grande has held the
21, 1979, to consider an amendment to the General Plan Land Use Element Map on
the following described properties:
WI�REAS, the Planning Co�nission feels that the public interest and general.
welfare does require such an amendment; and
WHEREAS, the Commission minutes including.a list of persons who testified
at the public hearing, summary of fact and findings, and copies of any maps per-
tinent to the proposal are on file and hereby declared to be part of said Resol-
ution,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED 'tliat said Planning Commission hereby recom-
mends as follows:
That the General Plan Land Use Element Map be amended by changirig the class-
ification of certain�areas described in Paragraph 1 above from Low Density Resi-
dential to the Central Business District.
F.or the following reason:
1. Changes would be compatible to and in keeping with the surrounding
developments and zoning. �
