PC R 79-679 Z301 RESOLUTION NO. 79-679 Z RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE ADOPTING THE PROPOSED LAND USE AND/OR ZONING CLASSI� FICATION CHANGE FOR THAT AREA EASTERLY OF BRISCO ROAD, FRONTING ON GRAND AVENUE, AND BEING APPROXIMATELY 100 FEET IN DEPTH NORTH OF GRAND AVENUE AND RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL FOR ITS ACTION AND ADOPTION. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande has held the required public hearing at their regular meeting of June 19, 1979, to consider the Land Use and/or Zoning reclassification for the following described properties: In the City of Arroyb Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, identified by the following Assessor's Parcel Numbers: APN 77-111-04 APN 77-111-05 APN 77-111-06 APN 77-111-07 APN 77-111-08 APN 77-111-02 APN 77-111-39 APN 77-111-40 APN 77-111-45 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission feels that the public interest and general welfare does require such an amendment; and WHEREAS, the Commission minutes including a list of persons who testified at the public hearing, summary of fact and findings, and copies of any maps pertinent to the proposal are on file and hereby declared to be part of said Resolution. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Planning Commission hereby recommends as follows: That the Land Use Element of the General Plan recognize the above properties as Highway Commercial land use designation, and that the Zoning for these prop- erties be recognized as "H-S" Highway Service District. For the following reason: l. Changes would be compatible to and in keeping with the surrounding developments and zoning. On motion by Commissioner Cole, seconded by Commissioner Vandeveer, and by the following roll call vote, to wit: AYES: NOES: ABSENT: Commissioners Cole, Fischer, Gorsline, Moots, Simmons and Vandeveer None Chairman Harris the foregoing Resolution was adopted this 19th day of June 1979.
