PC R 79-674294 RESOLUTION N0. 79-674 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY.OF ARROYO GRANDE P�,NNING COMMISSION ADOPTING PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE ZONING MAP AND RECONIDIENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THEIR ACTION�AND ADOPTION. WI�REAS, the Planning Co�nission of tlie City of Arroyo Grande has studied the proposed amendments to the Zoning Map; and WHEREAS, the Planning Co�nission of the City of Arroyo Grande has the respon- sibility to plan for the most desirable development of the City�of Arroyo Grande; and WHEREAS, the Planning Co�nission of the City of Arroyo Grande did de all things legally required by State Statute and did hold a Public Hearing on May 15; 1979, and prior to the adoption of this Resolution did consider all complaints and requests of citizens expressed at said Public Hearing. NOW, THEREFORE, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande does hereby resolve as follows: Section 1: �The Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande does hereby find and determine that the public interest, con- venience and necessity require that the proposed amendment"s to the Zoning Map be adopted. Section 2: The Planning Co�nission of the City of Arroyo Grande does hereby adopt the Zoning Map, as amended by Planning Co�¢nission action of May 15, 1979, which�is attached and,hereby made a part of this Resolution, together with�maps and descriptive material. Section 3: The Planning Co�ission Chairman is hereby authorized and directed to certify this approval of the Zoning Map as amended and forward to the City Council for consideration. Reconsideration of recommended zoning for a portion of the Williams property which fronts on Traffic Way and East Cherry. Your previous recom- mendation was for the entire parcel to be zoned "A". To be consistent with the adopted General Plan Land Use Map, the Commission should make the following reco�nendations to the Council. Leave the existing "H-S" zoning on the Williams parcel as is, and �,. : _`_- , _ ., ` rezone the portion that is "RA-B3" to "A". 2. Reconsideration of the recommended zoning for the general area encompassing the telephone company facilities, which front on Halcyon Road, and the Grand Avenue Trailer Park, which fronts on Grand Avenue. Your previous recommendation was to leave the entire area zoned "P-M". To be consistent with the adopted General Plan Land Use Map, the Gommission should make the following reco�endations to the Council: Rezone the area on the northwest corner of Grand Avnue and Halcyon Road, generally encompassing the telephone company facilities on Halcyon, and the Grand Avenue Trailer Park�from "P-M" to "H-S". 3. Reconsideration of the Fuller/Davino property located�on Farroll Avenue adjacent to the Grandmothers' Mobilehome Park. Your previous reco�endations were for (lst) "R-3-D", and (2nd) "R-G-D". To be consistent with the adopted General Plan Land Use Map, the Co�nission should make the following recom- mendations to the Council: Rezone the property from "R-1" to "R-2", (Previously a separate action). 4. A single piece of property fronting on Fair Oaks Avenue between Halcyon Road and Alder Street, also knows as APN 77-201-14. Rezone from "R-G".to "P-C". 5. An area bounded by Nevada Street, Hart Lane and an extension of Le Point Street, also known as a portion of APN!s 7-191-22 and 7-191-25. Rezone from "R-1" to "C-B-D". 6. The area along both�sides of Mason Street bounded on the north by the Arroyo Grande Creek, and on the south by Nelson Street, Rezone from "P-C" to "C-B-D".
