RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF AN AMENDMENT
TO THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AS
PROVIDED BY CHAPTER 4, ZONING, ARTICLE 32 OF SAID CODE.

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande, California
has held a public hearing on the application of Mr. Chuck Tempus to amend the
Municipal Code of the City of Arroyo Grande as provided by Chapter 4, Article
32, of said Code to rezone all that property described as follows from "RA-B3"
Residential Agricultural District to "P-D" Planned Development District:
"Lots A through C inclusive, a portion of Lots D and E, and Lots F
through K inclusive, of "Villa Sites" per map recorded April 28, 1888
in Book A, Page 67 of Maps, in the Office of the County Recorder,
County of San Luis Obispo, State of California. Property_located
in the City of Arroyo Grande generally on the northeast corner of
Highway 227 and Lopez Drive. Also.known as 220 Corbett Canyon Road."
Wf�REAS, the Planning Co�nission feels that the public interest and-general
welfare does require such an amendment; and
WHEREAS, the Co�anission minutes including a list of persons who testified at
the public hearing, summary of.fact and findings, and copies of any maps•pertinent
to the proposal are on file and thereby declared to be part of said resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Planning Commission hereby reco�nends
approval of the amendment as applied for, for the following reasons:
1. Zone change�from "RA-B3" District to "P-D" District would be in keeping
with the Land Use Plan.
2, Change would be compatible to and in keeping with the surrounding
developments and zoning.
Subject to the following conditions:
1. That a satisfactory drainage plan be submitted and approved by the
Planning Co�ission prior to a tentative map.
On motion by Commissioner Fischer, seconded by Co�nissioner Vandeveer, and
