PC R 79-670 Z290 RESOLUTION NO. 79-670 Z RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DENYING WITHOUT PREJUDICE AN AMENDMENT TO THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AR.ROYO GRANDE, AS PROVIDED BY CHAPTER 4 ZONING, ARTICLE 32, OF SAID CODE. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande, California has held a public hearing on the application of Ken Jones, Agent for James M. Duenow, to amend the Municipal Code of the City of Arroyo Grande as provided by Chapter 4 Zoning, Article 32, of said Code, to rezone all that property described as follows from "A" Agricultural District to "RA-Bl" Residential Agricultural District: Portion of Lot 75 of James T. Stratton's Subdivision of the Ranchos Corral de Piedra, Pismo and Bolsa de Chemisal, in the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California. Also known as Assessor's Parcel No. 7-011-26. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission feels that the public interest and general welfare does not require such an amendment, and WHEREAS, the Commission minutes including a list of persons who testified at the public hearing, summary of fact and findings, and copies of any maps pertinent are on file and hereby declared to be part of said Resolution. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Planning Commission hereby recommends denial of the amendment as applied for, for the following reason: 1. The Commission's acceptance of the Environmental Impact Report constitutes a denial of the proposed rezoning as the project was presented. On motion by Commissioner Cole, seconded by Commissioner Fischer, and by the following roll call vote, to wit: AYES: NOES ABSENT: Commissioners Cole, Fischer, Simmons, Vandeveer and Chairman Harris None Commissioners Gorsline and Moots the foregoing Resolution was adopted this lst day of May 1979.
