,
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE ORDERING THE SALE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FOLLOWING
PUBLIC HEARING (Government Code Section 37420 et, seq.)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande has, pursuant to
its resolution of intention, held a public hearing on August lq" 1973, at 8:00
P,M, for purposes of allowing protests to the sale of the hereinafter described
property, and
WHEREAS, at the time and place for protests, no protests were
received, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 37425 the City Council may
proceed with the sale of said property,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to said resolution of
intention the City Council orders said property sold and authorizes the Mayor
and City Clerk to execute a deed to the hereinafter described property to the
highest bidder,
Said property is described as follows:
That portion of Lot 114 of the Ranch(~Corral de Piedra, Pismo and Bolsa
de Chamisal, subdivided by James T. Stratton 'n September 1875 and filed in
Book A of Maps at Page 65 in the office of the County Recorder, County of San
Luis Obispo, State of California, described as follows:
Commencing at a point on the North line of said lot, distance thereon
2640 feet West of the northeast corner of said lot, said point being the north-
west corner of the property conveyed to L.W. Miles et ux, by deed recorded
August 29, 1936 in Book 200 of Official Records at Page 143, thence South along
the West line of said property 174,24 feet; thence parallel with the North line
of said property East 35,64 feet to the True Point of Beginning;
Thence northerly along the easterly line of the Elm Street Plan Line
as shown on map thereof filed in Book 15 of Licensed Surveys at Page 6 and
on map filed in Book 7 of Parcels Maps at Page 64 North 00 49' 28" East
134,55 feet to a tangent curve concave southeasterly with a radius of 20,00
feet; thence northerly and easterly along said curve through a central angle
of 890 10' 32" an arc distance of 31.13 feet; thence tangent to said curve
and parallel with the North line of said lot East 12,76 feet; thence parallel
with and 54,67 feet from the east line of the property conveyed to Henry G.
Gooding and Kate E, Gooding by deed dated June 11, 1953 and recorded in
Book 714 of Official Records at Page 115 South 154.24 feet to the South Line
of the property conveyed to L,W. Miles aforesaid; thence parallel with the
North line of said lot West 34,69 feet to the True Point of Beginning, and
containing 5095 sq, feet more or less,
Subject to an eg"mnent for sewer purposes over the southerly 12 feet
of the above described; roperty, granted to the County of San Luis Obispo
on April 2, 1973,
On motion of Councilnmn de Leon, seconded by Councilman Talley and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Talley, Millis, de Leon and Mayor Schlegel
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Wood
the foregoing resolution was passed
