A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF' THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE ADOPTING THE REVISED AND UPDATED LAND USE
ELEMENT MAP OF THE GENERAL PLAN FOR THE AREA ON THE
SOUTH SIDE OF THE FREEWAY SYSTEMa

WI�REAS, the Planning Co�nission of the City of Arroyo Grande has prepared a
general plan report, together with general plan maps as required by Government
Code Seetion 65302 (d), and did all things legally and technically required by
law to dev�lop reports and maps adequate in scope and suthority to serve the pur�
po�e of a general plan; and
C�THERE�S, pursuant to Government Code Section 65501 et seqe the City Planning
Co�ission gave required notice and did hold a public hearing on May 2, 1978 and
May 16, 1978, for the purpose of considering the amendment to the Land Use Map of
the General PYan, and at which public hearing the Land Use Map and reporta were
displayed, explained, and reported upon; and
WHEREAS, said Land Use Element Map of the General Plan report tfiereof fs
necess�ry for sound future community development, the preservation of coffinunity
values, and the promotion of the general health, safety, convenfence and welfare
of the cftizens of the City of Arroyo Grande; and
WHER�AS, the PYanning Co�fssion of the.City of Arroyo Grande has a respon�
sibiYity to pl�n for the desirable future growth and development of the City of
Arroyo Grand�
NOW, TH�REFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES

certify this apgroval upon the T�nd Use Element Map of the General Plan, as
amended, �nd forw�rd to the City Council for_e�nsideration,
