PC R 77-529 Z133 RESOLUTION NO. 77-529 Z RESOLUTION QF THE PLANNING CONBrIISSION OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DENYING AN AMENDMENT TO THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE, AS PROVIDED BY (�iAPTER 4, ARTICLE 32, OF SAID CODE. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande,- California has held a public hearing on the application of Gordon Filer and Fred A. and Gertrude H. Grieb Estat� to amend the Municipal Code of the City of P,rroyo � Grande as provided by Chapter 4, Article 32, of said Code, to rezone all that property described as follows •from "R-1" to "P-C" District: ' Parcels l and 2 of Map AG 73-163, in the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, also known as Assessor's Parcel No. 6-391-42. WHEREAS, the Planning ComQaission feels that the public i:nterest and general welfare does not require such an amendment, and WHEREAS, the Commission minutes including a list of persons who testified at the Public Hearing, summary of fact and findings and copies of any maps perti- nent are on file and hereby declared to be part of said Resolution. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Planning Commission hereby recomanends denial of the amendment as applied for, for the following reasons: 1. Not compatible with Land Use PTan. 2. Not compatible with existing zonincg on adjacent properties.
