, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE SETTING FORTH ITS INTENTION TO SELL REAL PROPERTY
AND SETTING A DATE FOR HEARING THEREON AS PROVIDED UNDER
PROVISIONS OF GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 37420.
WHEREAS, the City of Arroyo Grande has no prospective use for the herein-
after described parcel of property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE AS FOLLOWS:
1. The public interest and convenience will be served if the hereinafter
described parcel of real property set forth in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto is sold and conveyed.
2. 1bat the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande intends to sell
and convey the parcel of property described in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto and by reference incorporated herein.
3. That a hearing will be held in com1ection with said Council's
intention to sell and convey the parcel of real property described
in Exhibit "A", at which time, any person objecting to said sale
or interested therein may appear and be heard thereon. Said
hearing will be held on the 24th day of July, 1973, at the hour of
8:00 P,M. of said day in the Cuuncil Chambers in the City Hall,
214 E, Branch Street, Arroyo Grande, California,
4, The minimum bid which will be approved for the parcel shall be
Three Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($350,00), In addition to the
minimum bid, the purchaser will be required to install, to City
standards, curbs, gutters, eight foot (8') sidewalks and to pave
the street from the gutter to existing paving, prior to completion
of said sale.
5, That in the event the City Council elects to sell said property,
final action may be taken immediately following said public hearing,
6, The City Clerk of the City of Arroyo Grande is herewith ordered to
publim this resolution in the Five Cities Time-Press-Recorder at
least fifteen (15) days prior to the date or s/lid headng,
7, The parcel of real property herein referred to is described in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
On motion of Councilman Talley, seconded by Councilman de Leon and on the
following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Millis, Talley, de Leon and Mayor Schlegel
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Wood

Bolsa de. Chamisal~ subdivided by James T.Stratton in September 1875 and
filed in Book A of Maps at Page 65 in the office of the County Recorder,
County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, described as follows:
Commencing at a point on the North line of said lot~ distant thereon
2640 feet West of the northeast corner of said lot, said point being the
northwest cornarof the property conveyed to L.W. Miles etux, by deed
recorded August 29, 1936 in Book 200 of Official Records at Page 143,
thence South along the West line of said property 174.24 feet; thence
