PC R 75-408 Z�/� RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF T�E CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE RECOMMENDING.APPROVAL OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE MUN3CIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AS PROVIDED BY CHAPTER /� ZONING, ARTICLE 32, OF SAID CODE. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of thP City of Arroyo Grande, California has held a public hearing on the application of Denton V. and Ma.ry, A. Adams to amend the Municipal CQd� of the City �if Arroyo Grand� as provided by Chapter 4, Article 32, of said code, to rezone all that property described as follows from "R-A-B-1" Residential Agricultural District to 'rR°1" Single Family Residential District: "That portion of Lot 1G of St2e1�`s Resubdivision of the Ranchos Corral de Piedra, Pismo and Bolsa de Chemisal, in the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, according to the map recorded November 24, 1886 in Book A at Page 63 of Maps described as follows: Beginning at a point marked S. 61 being the Southeasterly corner of said Lot 19; thence North 9° West 2.34 chains to the center of Arroyo Grande Creek; thence North 80° West 7.06 chains to the Northeasterly corner of land conveyed to Charles Crannell by Deed recorded October 8, 1887 in Book X at Page 562 of Deeds; thencE South 32 2° E�.st along the North�asterly line of the property so conveyed 7.33 chains to a point on Myrtle Street; thence along the Northerly line of said Myrtle Street North 57z° East 4.36 chains to the point of beginning," WHEREAS, the Planning Commission feels that the public interest and general welfare does rEquir°e such an amendment, and is in keeping with the Land Use Plan; and WHEREAS, the Commission minutes including a list of persons who testi- fied at the public hearing, summary of fact.and findings and copies of any maps pertinent to the proposal are on file and hereby declared to be part of said Resolution. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Planning Commission hereby recommends approval of th� amendment as applied for for the following reasons: 1. Zone change to "R-1" District is in k2eping with the Land Use Plan. 2 Zone change is compatible to surrounding use and in keeping with the surrounding dev�lopments and zaning.
