RESOLUT I ON OF THE PLANN I NG COP1P11 S5 I ON OF THE C I TY OF
ARROYO GRANDE GRANTING A USE PERMBT, CASE N0. 74-224.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the Use Permit applied fo r by
Marvin K. Hartwig, 1119 Grand Avenue, meets the requi�°ements of the Arroyo
Grande Municipal Code to allow for a Used Car Lot in an H�.S Destrict on t�e
following described property;
In the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo,
State of California, Southerly 50 ft. of Lot 10 of the
Folsom Tract, an unimproved parcel of land rectangular in
shape - 50' X 125'
and grants said Use Permit subject to the foll,owing aonditions:
1, Requirement for present surfacing to be swept and a new penetra-
ting oil coat, shall be subject to review by the City Engineer,
with a recommendation to the Architectural Review Committee.
2. West side of area being used for sales lot be physically separated
by a decorative fence, subject to approval by the Architectural
Review Commi:ttee,
3, Plans for landscaping of office and planter area subject to approyal
by the Architectural Review Committee.
4 Area lighting,if used to be oriented to the interior of the
property so as not to reflect on abutting properties and public
right�of-way,
FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS:
1, Would not adversely affect abutting properties.
2. Permissive use within the district subject to Use-Permit procedures,
On motion by Commissioner Goulart, seconded by Commissioner Ries, and
by the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Commissioners Calhoon, Goulart Mathews, Moots, Ries
and Chairman Pope
NOES: None
ABSENT: Commissioner Sandoval
