RESOLUTION N0, 71-207 Z A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE PLANNENG COMMISSION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE ClTY OF ARROYO GRANDE AS PROUIDED BY CHAPTER 4 ZONING, ARTICLE 21, OF SA9D CODE. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande California has held a public hearing on the application of John Kuden, Agent for A. Swimmer, to amend the Municipal Code of the City of Arroyo Grande as provided by Chapter 4, Article 21 of said Code, to rezone all that property described as follows from R-A-B-1 and R-A-B-3 District to R-1 District; Portions of Lots 11 and 13 of the Resubdivision of a part of the Ranchos Corral de Piedra, Pismo and Bolsa de Chemisal, in the City of Arroyo Grande, � County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, as per map filed in Book A, Page 63 of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said County, more particularly described as follows: � Beginning at the most Southwesterly corner of said Lot 13; thence along the westerly line of said Lot 13, North.l5 28' East, 537 .63 feet; thence leaving said lot line, North 81 East 537.Z4 feet; thence North 15° 28' East, 601.79 feet; thence North 74 ° 32' West �+89.00 feet to the westerly lot line of said Lot 11; thence along said westerly lot line, North 15 28' East 274.97 feet to the northwesterly corner of said Lot 11; thence along the northeasterly line of said Lot 11, South 74° 32' East 895.92 feet to the northeasterly corner thereof; thence along the southeasterly line of said Lots 11 and 13, South 15 28' West 912.57 feet; thence leaving t'he said southeasterly line of said Lot 13, North 74° 32' West 110.00 feet; thence South 15 28' West 230.00 feet;. thence North 88° 50' West, 77.55 feet; thence South 81 West 95,00 feet; thence South 9 East 189.39 feet to the southeasterly line of said Lot 13; thence along the said southeasterly line of said.Lot 13, South 81 West 230.00 feet; thence leaving said southeasterly line of said Lot 13 North 9° West 189.39 feet; thence South 81° West 433.g1 feet; thence South 15 28' West 208.03 feet to the said southeasterly line of Lot 13; thence along said southeasterly line South 81 West 21.g8 feet to the true point of beginning. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission feels that the public interest and general welfare do�s require such an amendment, and is in keeping with the Land Use Plan, and WHEREAS, the Commission minutes including list of persons who testified at the Public Hearing, summary of fact and findings and copies of any maps pertinent to the proposal are attached and hereby declared to be part of said Resolution, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Planning Commission hereby .recommends approval of the amendment for the following reasons: 1. Zone change to R-1 would be compatible to and in keeping with surrounding developments, zoning and Land Use Plen. On motion of Commissioner Bowles, seconded by Commissioner Porter, and on the following roll ca,ll vote, to wit; AYES: Commissioners Berryhill, Bowles, Jones, Nunes, Porter, St. Denis and Chairman Schultz NOES: None ABSENT: None the foregoing Resolution was adopted this 17th day of August, 1971.
