PC R 71-203 Z�44 RESOLUTION N0. 71�203 Z A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AS PROVIDED BY CHAPTER 4 ZONING, ARTICLE 21, OF SAID CODE. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande, California has held a public hearing on the application of Vick Pace to amend the Municipal Code of the City of Arroyo Grande as provided by Chapter 4, Article 21 of said code, to rezone all that property described as follows from R-A-B-1 to R-1 District. That portion of Lot 19 of Steele's Resubdivision of a part of the Ranchos Corral de Piedra, Pismo and Bo1sa de Chemisal, in the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, according to map recorded November 24, 1886 in Book A, Page 63 of Maps, described as follows: Beginning.at a post marked S.60 at the most Southerly corner of said Lot 19; thence North 32z West along the Southwesterly line of said Lot 19, 8.74 chains to a point in the Arroyo Grande Creek; thence South 81 East 2.90 chains; thence South 32� East 7.03 chains to the Northerly line of Myrtle Street; thenee South 57'� West along said Northerly line 2.18 chains to the point of beginning. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission feels that the public interest and general welfare does requi.re such an amendment, and is in keeping with the Land Use Plan, and WHEREAS, the Co�nission minutes including list of persons who testified at the Public Hearing, summary of fact and findings and copies of any maps pertinent to the proposal are attached and hereby declared to be part of said Resolution. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Planning Commission hereby recom- mends approval of the amendment as applied for, for the following reasons: 1. Zone ch�.nge to R�1 would be compatible to and in keeping witli surround- ing developments and zoning. On motion of Commissioner St. Denis, seconded by Commissioner Bowles, and by the following roll call vote, to wit: .„ . AYES: Co�nissioners Bowles, Berryhill, Nunes, St. Denis, Schultz and Porter.
