RESOLUTION N0. 71 -194 z
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE PLANNING
COMMISSION RECOMMENDING AN AMENDMENT TO THE MUNICIPAL
CODE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AS PROVIDED BY
CHAPTER 4 ZONING, ARTICLE 21, OF SAID CODE,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande, California
has held public hearings on the application of Carl J. Greenwood to amend the
Municipal Code of the City of Arroyo Grande as provided by Chapter 4, Article
21 of said Code, to rezone all that property described as follows from RA-63 to
R-1 District.
In the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo,
State of California, being that 34.93 acre parcel of land
lying easterly and adjacent to Greenwood Manor, Tract No.
256, and between Branch Mill Road and the Arroyo Grande
Creek as shown on a Record of Survey filed in Book 16 of
Record of Surveys at Page 64, records of said Countya
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission feels that the public interest and general
welfare does require such an amendment, and is in keeping with the Land Use Plan,
and
WHEREAS, the Commission minutes including list of persons who testified at
the Public Hearing, summary of fact and findings and copies of any maps pertinent
to the proposal are attached and hereby declared to be part of said Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Planning Commission hereby recommends
approval of the amendment for the following reason:
1. Logical extension of the present subdivision,

the following roll call vote, to wit:
