PC R 70-177215 � RESOLUTION N0. 70-177 City of Arroyo Grande, at a regular meeting, did hold a public hearinc� and all WHEREAS, on the 6th day of October, 1970, the Planning Commission of the persons concerned were notified, and WHEREAS, after said public hearing, the Planning Commission did determine that the street commonly known as "Railroad Avenue" be officially named "Pacific Coast Railway" for the reasons stated below: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLUED, that the Planning Commission hereby recommends to the City Council that the certain street known as "Railroad Avenue'� be changed to "Pacific Coast Railway" for the following reasons: . 1. 'fo provide proper identification of properties affected. 2. To retain historical significance for the area. On motion of Commissioner McMillen, seconded by Comrnissioner Strother, and by the following roll call vote, to wit: AYES; NOES: ABSENT: A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNENG COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE RECOMMENDING CHANGING THE NAME OF "RAELROAD AVENUE" TO "PACIFIC COAST RAILWAY" IN THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE, � Commissioners Bowles, McMillen, Nunes, St. Denis. and Chairman Moss None Commissioner Porter the foregoing Resolution was adopted this 6th day of October, 1970.
