A RESOLUTION OF' THE CITY COUNCIL OF' THE CITY or ARRO\O ,iI\L,ivE
SETTING FORTI! ITS INTENTION 1'0 SELL REAL PROPERTY AND SETTING
A DATE FOR HEARING THEREON AS PROVIDED UNDER PROVISIONS (IF
GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 37420.
WHEREAS, the City of Arroyo Grande ha.s nu prospective use for ti18 h"rain"'
after described parcel of property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE AS FOLLOWS:
1. The public interest and convenience will be served if the hareinafter
described parcel of real property set forth in Exhibit "A" attaeh"d
hereto is sold and conveyed,
2. That the City Council of the City of Arroyo Gr.ande intands to sell
and convey the parcel of property describsd in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto and by l't=!.ferenee incorporii,ted her..;in..
3. That a hearing will be held in connection with said Council's
intention to sell and convey the parcel of real property described
in Exhibit "A", at which time, any person objecting t:J said sale or
interested therein may appear and be heard thereon. Said hearing
will be held on the 12th day of December, 1972, at the h~~r of
8:00 P.M. of said day in the Council Chambers in the City Hall,
214 E. Branch Street, Arroyo Grande, California,
4. The minimum bid which will be approved for the parcel shall be
Four Thousand Dollars ($4,000,00). Bids may be submitted to the
City Clerk I s office at any ti.:!Ie prior to said hearing.
S. That in the event the City Council elects to ,sell said property,
final aCtion may be taken innnediately following said public hearing,
6, The City Clerk of the City of Arroyo Grande is herewith ordered to
publish this resolution in the Five Cities Times-Press-Recorder
at least five (5) days prior to the date of said hearing,
7. The parcel of r.eal property her"in referred to is described in
Exhibit "A" attached heretc.

That portion of Lot 114 of the Ranchos Corral de Piedra, Plamo and Bolsa
de Chamisal, subdivided by James T. Stratton in September 1875 and filed in
Book A of Maps at Page 65 in the office of the County Recorder, County of San
Luis Obispo, State of California, described as follows:
Commencing at a point on the North line of said lot, distant thereon
2640 feet West of the northeast corner of said lot, said point being the
northwest corner of the property conveyed to L.W. Miles et ux, by deed recorded
Augus t 29, 1936 in Book 200 of Official Records at Page 143, thence South along
the West line of said property 174024 feet; thence parallel with the North line
of said property East 35.64 feet to the True Point of Beginning;
Thence northerly along the easterly line of the Elm Street Plan Line as
shown on map thereof filed in Book 15 of Licensed Surveys at Page 6 and on map
filed in Book 7 of Parcels Maps at Page 64 North 0049'2811 East 134.55 feet to
a tangent curve concave southeasterly with a radius of 20.00 feet; thence
northerly and easterly along said curve through a central angle of 89010'32" an
arc distance of 31.13 feet; thence tangent to said curve and parallel with the
North line of said lot East 12.76 feet; thence parallel with and 54.67 feet from
the east line of the property conveyed to Henry G. Gooding and Kate E. Gooding
by deed dated June iI, 19')3 and recorded in Book 714 of Official Records at
Page 115 South 154.24 feet to the South Line of th'i:: property conveyed to L.W.
Miles aforesaid; thence parallel with the North line of said lot West 34.69 feet
