WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the Cety of Arroyo G�ande, California, has held a public hearing on the application of Mr. Frank Wo Pr��d, to amend the M�nicipal Code of the City of Arroyo Grande as provided by C�apter 4 Zoning, Article 21 of said code to rezone all that property described as foalows�from �-2 to R�3: The northerly 10.49 feet of Lot 12 and all of Lots 13, 14 15 and 16 of Block 8 and Lots l, 2 3 and 4 of Block 11 of the Short, Mason, Whiteley Addition as recorded in Book A, Page 48 of Maps in the office of the Co.unty Recorder of said County; and that certain parcel of land in the City of Arroyo Grande County of San Luss Obispo, State of California, shown on the map of the Resubdivisson of a part of the Ranchos Corra.l de Piedra, Pismo and Bolsa de Chemisal recorded November 24, 1886 in Book A Page 63 of Maps, sn the offece of the Coun�y Recorder of said County, bounded on the Northwest by the Northeasterly prolongation of the center line of Nelson Street, as said Nelson Street is shown on the map recorded in'Book A Page 48 of Maps; bounded on the southeast by the Northeasterly prolongation of the Northwesterly line of Lot 5 in Block 11 of the subdivision of the lands of W. N. Short G. J. Mason and W, Whiteley, as per map recorded in Baok A Page 48 of Maps; bounded on the Southwest by the Easterly line of Block 11 of the said Short, Mason and Whiteley subdiviseon a�d the Northwest.erly extension thereof.to the said center line of Nelson Street, and bounded on the Northeast by the North- easterly line of the right of way granted to the San Luos Obispo and Santa Maria Valley Raalroad Company, a Corporation, by deed dated November 14, 1881 and recorded in Book N P�ge 472 of Deeds of said County. WHEREAS, the Pla�ning Commission feels th�t the public interest and general welfare does require such an amendment, and WHEREAS, the Commission report including list of persons who testified at the Public Hearing, summary of fact and findings and copies of any maps pertinent to the`�proposal are attached and hereby declared to be a part of said Resolution, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLUED, that said Planning Commisseon hereby recommends approval of the amen.dment with the following requirement: l. Requirement to deed the northerly 30° of the Proud property to the City of Arroyo Grande for future street development for the extension of Ne�son Street.
