A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE PLANNING
COMMISSION ADOPTING THE PROPOSED ZONING ORDINANCE
AND MAP AS AMENDED AND RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY
COUNCIL FOR THEiR ACTION AND ADOPTION
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande, has studied
the proposed Zoning Ordinance and Map; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande has the re-
sponsibility to plan for the most desirable development of the City of Arroyo
Grande; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande did do all
things legally required by State Statute and did h�ld a Public Hearing on May
20th and 21st, 1968 and prior to the adoption of this Resolution did consider
all complaints and requests of citizens expressed at said Public Hearing;
NOW THEREFORE, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande does
hereby resolve, as follows:
Section 1. TFe Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande does
hereby find and determine that the Public Interest, con-
venience and necessity require that the proposed Zoning
Ordinar�ce and Map, as amended, be adopted.
S:ection 2. The Plarning Commission of the City of P.rroyo Grande does
hereby adopt the proposed Zoning Ordinance and Map as
amerded and the attached Addendum, dated June 5, 1968
is hereby made part of this Resolution.
Section 3. 'rhe Planroing Comrnissi�n Chairman is hereby authorized and
directed to certify this approval of the proposed Ordinance
as amended and forward to the City Council for consideration,
On motion of Commissioner Sawyer, seconded by Commissioner Moss, and by
the following roll call vote, to-wit:
AYES: Commissioners Moss, Porter, Sawyer, Skelton and Strother
NOES: None
ABSENT: Commissioners McMillen and St. Denis
The foregoing Resolution was adopted this 2nd day of July, 1968.
