A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE APPROVING
ADMINISTRATIVE SIGN PERMIT 05-006; LOCATED AT
906 RANCHO PARKWAY; APPLIED FOR BY FITNESS 19
WHEREAS, the applicant has filed Administrative Sign Permit 05-006 to establish a sign
at 906 Ranch Parkway; and
Planned Sign Program for the Five Cities Center; and
WHEREAS, the Architectural Review Committee of the City of Arroyo Grande has
reviewed and recommended approval of Administrative Sign Permit 05-006 on February
7, 2005 in accordance with the Municipal Code of the City of Arroyo Grande and the
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande has considered
Administrative Sign Permit 05-006 on February 15, 2005 in accordance with the Municipal
Code of the City of Arroyo Grande and the Planned Sign Program for the Five Cities
Center;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of
Arroyo Grande hereby approves Administrative Sign Permit 05-006, filed by Fitness 19,
with the above finding and subject to the conditions as set forth in Exhibit "A".
On motion of Commissioner Fellows, seconded by Commissioner Keen, and by the
following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Commissioners Fellows, Keen, Vice Chair Brown, Parker and Tait
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was adopted this 15 day of February, 2005.

CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
ADMINISTRATIVE SIGN PERMIT 05-006

This approval authorizes a sign at 906 Rancho Parkway.
1. The applicant shall ascertain and comply with all Federal, State, County and City
requirements as are applicable to this project.
2. The applicant shall comply with all conditions of approval for Administrative Sign
Permit 05-002.
3. The signs shall be constructed and installed in substantial conformance with the
plans on file in the Community Development Department office.

4. The UL listing label shall be located on the top of the signs so that it is not visible
from below.
5. The applicant shall obtain any necessary permits from the City's Fire and Building
Department, as determined by the Chief Building Inspector.
6. The applicant shall agree to defend at his/her sole expense any action brought
against the City, its present or former agents, officers, or employees because of
the issuance of said approval, or in anyway relating to the implementation thereof,
or in the alternative, to relinquish such approval. The applicant shall reimburse the
City, its agents, officers, or employees, for any court costs and attorney's fee's
which the City, its agents, officers or employees may be required by a court to pay
as a result of such action. The City may, at its sole discretion, participate at its
own expense in the defense of any such action but such participation shall not
relieve applicant of his/her obligations under this condition.
