A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE APPROVING TIME
EXTENSION 04-006 FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 02-
006, LOCATED AT 345 SOUTH HALCYON ROAD
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande has considered a
request for a one-year Time Extension for Conditional Use Permit 02-006 to expand
the existing hospital parking lot, applied for by Arroyo Grande Community Hospital;
and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission approved Conditional Use Permit 02-006 on
June 18, 2002; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has found that this project is consistent with
the City's General Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds, after due study, and deliberation, that
there have been no significant changes in the General Plan, Municipal Code or
character of the area within which the project is located that would cause the
approved project to be injurious to the public health, safety, or welfare; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds, after due study and deliberation, that
there exist unique circumstances which caused the approval for Conditional Use
Permit 02-006 to lapse before a time extension request was filed, and that granting a
time extension for Conditional Use Permit 02-006 is consistent with the spirit of
General Plan and Municipal Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of
Arroyo Grande hereby approves a one-year time extension for Conditional Use Permit
02-006, filed by Arroyo Grande Community Hospital, with the above findings and
subject to the conditions as set forth in Exhibit "A". The expiration of approval for
Conditional Use Permit 02-006 shall now be June 18, 2005.
On motion of Commissioner Keen, seconded by Commissioner Arnold, and by the
following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Commissioners Arnold, Fowler, Keen, and Chair Guthrie
NOES: None
ABSENT: Commissioner Brown

CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
TIME EXTENSION 04-006
This approval authorizes a one-year time extension for Conditional Use Permit 02-
006, which was originally approved by the Planning Commission on June 18, 2002,
allowing the expansion of the existing hospital parking lot.

The applicant shall ascertain and comply with all Federal, State, County and
City requirements as are applicable to this project.
The applicant shall comply with all conditions of approval for Conditional Use
Permit 02-006.
3. Conditional Use Permit 02-006 shall automatically expire on June 18, 2005.
The applicant may apply for two additional one-year time extensions, pursuant
to Development Code Section 16.12.140.
4. For all building permits issued in the subject development, the applicant shall
pay those development impact fees that are in effect at the time the permits
are issued.
