Associate Planner Holub presented the staff report highlighting the Committee's previous review
of the sign application. He also provided a description of the sign proposal with regards to the
colors, materials, size, and location.
Project applicant, Kelly Keane, answered questions from the Committee about the sign
materials.
The Committee discussed the proposal, specifically the material of the letters, border, and width
of the signboard. The Committee stated that although the letters are proposed to be plastic, they
would mimic the appearance of wood or metal, and therefore do comply with the Design
Guidelines. The colors, although brighter than preferred, comply with the Design Guidelines
because they are compatible with the building's color scheme. Overall the Committee was
supportive of the signs as proposed.
