ADU Permit
State law requires agencies to approve four (4) categories of ADUs with building permit:
Conversion of existing space or accessory on SFR lot
Detached ADUs on single family lot and less than 800sf
ADUs created through the conversion of non-livable space in MFR
Up to two detached ADUs on MFR lots with height <18 ft
