Background of Current System
The installation of the current Audio/Video System was completed in April 2017
During the COVID restrictions of 2020, Zoom was added to the Public participation portion of the system

The system facilitated high-quality, in-person meetings as well as broadcasting to Channel 20 for the Citizens of Arroyo Grande.

City issued RFP for an upgrade to the Audio/Video System in the Council Chambers
A-Town AV was the most responsive bidder with a proposal of $193,790.10
Public Access Television (PEG) special revenue fund included a budget for this project totaling $180,000.
Proposal Process and Budget
Two bidders responded, with only one of them being compliant and responsive.

The A/V streaming device will be upgraded

Recommendation
Staff recommends Council approve an agreement with A-Town AV for design and installation, for the contract amount of $193,790.10; and
Approve a budget adjustment of $13,800 for the remainder of the project costs.
