RESOLUTION OF THE CI'IY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE, AUTHORIZING ESTABLISHMENT OF
BOULEVARD STOP AND YIELD SIGNS, AND ESTABLISHING
SPEED ZONES AND DIRECTING ERECTING OF SPEED LIMI T
SIGNS ,AND CURVE SIGNS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
AS FOLLOWS:
That the Chief of Police of the City of Arroyo Grande be and he is
herewith authorized and directed to install Boulevard Stop, Yield Traffic, and
Curve signs as follows:
Boulevard Stop signs shall be installed as follows:
On the southeasterly corner of LE POINT TERRACE and CROWN STREET so as
to stop all traffic on LE POINT TERRACE as it enters CROWN STREET.
On the northwesterly corner of P.C. RIW and CHERRY AVE. sO as to stop all
traffic on P.C./Rw as it enters CHEERY AVE.
On the southeasterly corner of P.C. RIW and ALLEN STREET so as to stop
all traffic on P.C. RIW as it enters ALLEN STREET.
On the northwesterly corner of CALIFORNIA AVE. AND CHERRY AVE. so as
to stop all traffic on CALIFORNIA AVE. as it enters CHERRY AVE.
On the northeasterly corner of FAEH AVE. and HALCYON RD. so as to stop
all traffic on FAEH AVE. as it enters HALCYON RD.
On the southwesterly corner of BENNETT AVE. and HALCYON RD. so as to
stop all traffic on BENNETT AVE. as it enters HALCYON RD.
On the northeasterly corner of FAIR OAKS AVE. and HALCYON RD. so as to
stop all traffic on FAIR OAKS AVE. as it enters HALCYON RD.
On the southwesterly corner of CEDAR STREET and ASPEN STREET so as
to stop all traffic on CEDAR STREET as it enters ASPEN STREET.
On the northeasterly corner of CEDAR STREET and SPRUCE STREET so as
to stop all traffic on CEDAR STREET as it enters SPRUCE STREET.
On the southwesterly corner of CEDAR STREET and SPRUCE STREET so as to
stop all traffic on CEDAR STREET AS it enters SPRUCE STREET.
On the northeasterly corner of SAGE STREET and SPRUCE STREET so as to
stop all traffic on SAGE STREET as it enters SPRUCE STREET.
On the southwesterly corner of SAGE STREET and ASPEN STREET so as to
stop all traffic on SAGE STREET as it enters ASPEN STREET.
On the southeasterly corner of ASPEN STREET and POPLAR STREET to as to
stop all traffic on ASPEN STREET as it enters POPLAR STREET.
On the northeasterly corner of BRIGHTON STREET and NO. ELM STREET so as
to stop all traffic on BRIGHTON STREET as it enters NO. ELM STREET.
On the southeasterly corner of SPRUCE STREET and POPLAR STREET so as to
stop all traffic on SPRUCE STREET as it enters POPLAR STREET.
YIELD traffic signs shall be installed as follows:
oOn the southwesterly corner of LE POINT STRJrET and CROWN TERRACE so as
to cause all traffic on LE POINT STREET to yield to traffic on CROWN TERRACE.
On the northeasterly corner of BRIGHTON STREET and TWENTIETH STREET so as
to cause all traffic on BRIGHTON STREET to yield to traffic on TWENTIETH STREET.
On the southwesterly corner of HILLCREST DRIVE and NEWPORT AVENUE
so as to cause all traffic on HILLCREST DRIVE TO yield to traffic on NEWPORT AVENUE.
On the southwesterly corner of WILLOW LANE and WOODLAND DRIVE so as to
cause all traffic on WILLOW LANE to yield to traffic on WOODLAND DRIVE.
On the southwesterly corner of VIRGINIA DRIVE and WOODLAND DRIVE so as to
cause all traffic on VIRGINIA DRIVE to yield to traffic on WOODLAND DRIVE.
On the southeasterly corner of OAK STREET and BENNETT AVENUE so as to cause
all traffic on OAK STREET to yield to traffic on BENNETT STREET.
On the southwesterly corner of FAEH STREET and BELL STREET so as to cause
all traffic on FAEH STRE,ET to yield to traffic on BELL STREET.
On the southeasterly corner of RENA STREET and BENNETT STREET so as to
cause all traflic on RENA STREET to yield to traffic on BENNETT STREET.
On the southesasterly corner of NO. ALPINE STREET and BENNETT STREET so
as to cause all traffic on NO. ALPINE STREET to yield to traffic on BENNETT STREET.
On the southeasterly corner of NO. ALPINE STREET and FAEH STREET so as to
cause all traffic on NO. ALPINE STREET to yield to traffic on FAEH STREET.
On the southeasterly corner of OAK STREET and CORNWALL AVE. so as to cause
all traffic on OAK STREET to y~eld to traffic on CORNWALL AVENUE.
On the northwesterly corner of OAK STREET and CORNWALL AVE. so as to cause
all traffic on OAK STREET to yield to traffic on CORNWALL AVE.
On the southeasterly corner of WHITELEY STREET and NELSON STREET so as to
cause all traffic on WHITELEY STREET to yield to traffic on NELSON ST.
On the northeasterly corner of MYRTLE STREET AND GARDEN STREET so as to
cause all traffic on MYRTLE STREET to yield to traffic on GARDEN STREET.
On the southwesterly corner of LUANA DRIVE and LOS OLIVOS LANE so as to
cause all traffic on LUANA DRIVE to yeild to traffic on LOS OLIVas LANE.
On the northeasterly corner of EMAN COURT and SO. ALPINE STREET so as
to cause all traffic on EMAN COURT to yield to traffic on SO. ALPINE STREET.
On the southwesterly corner of PARK WAY and RENA STREET so as to cause
all traffic on PARK WAY to yield to traffic on RENA STREET.
On the southeasterly corner of TODD LANE and FAIR OAKS AVE. so as to cause
all traffic on TODD LANE to yield to traffic on FAIR OAKS AVE.
On the northeasterly corner of CYPRESS STREET and ALDER STREET so as to
cause all traffic on CYPRESS STREET to yield to traffic on ALDER STREET.
On the northeasterly corner of RUSS COURT and PAUL PLACE so as to cause
all traffic on RUSS COURT to yield to traffic on PAUL PLACE.
On the northeasterly corner of BRIGHTON AVE. and FAIR VIEW DRIVE so as to
cause all traffic on BRIGHTON AVE. to yield to traffic on FAIR VIEW DRIVE.
On the northwesterly corner of LEDO PLACE and BRIGHTON AVENUE so as to
cause all traffic on LEDO PLACE to yield to traffic on BRIGHTON AVENUE.
On the southwesterly corner of BRIGHTON AVENUE and FAIR VIEW DRIVE so as
to cause all traffic on BRIGHTON AVE. to yield to traffic on FAIR VIEW DRIVE.

On THE PIKE from HALCYON RD. to ELM STREET.
30 MILE PER HOUR ZONES ,AS FOLLOWS:
On GRAND AVE. from BARNETT STREET to WEST CITY LIMITS.
25 MILE PER HOUR ZONES N3 FULLDWa:
On CROWN STREET from State Route No. 227 to BRANCH STREET.
On NORTH AND SOUTH ELM STREET from BRIGHTON AVE. to SOUTH CITY LIMITS.
On SIERRA DRIVE from HILLCREST DRIVE to 18TH STREET.
On HILLCREST DRIVE from SIERRA DRIVE to SIERRA DRIVE.
On MAPLE STREET from ALDER STREET to ELM STREET.
On LEANNA DRIVE from VALLEY RD. to WEST CITY LIMITS.
On NEWPORT AVE. from WEST CITY LIMITS to Ml!lNTAGO STREET.
On MASON STREET from ALLEN STREET to LE POINT STREET.
On ALLEN STREET from TRAFFIC WAY to GARDEN STREET.
On FARRELL ROAD from PECAN STREET to WEST CITY LIMITS.
On THE PIKE from ELM STREET to WEST CITY LIMITS.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT THE FOLLOWING CURVE SIGNS ARE AND THEY ARE
HEREWITH INSTALLED:
On POPLAR near SPRUCE to indicate the curve when driving westerly on
POPLAR STREET.
On HILLCREST in' the 1500 Block to indicate the curve when driving
westerly or easterly on HILLCREST DRIVE.
On THE PIKE at ELM STREET to indicate the curve when driving westerly
or easterly on THE PIKE.
On TALLY HO ROAD near LE POINT to indicate the "S" Curve when driving
northerly or southerly on TALLY HO ROAD.
On CHERRY AVE. at intersection of CHERRY ,AVE. and NEWSOM SPRINGS RD. to
indicate the durve going easterly or northerly on NEWSOM SPRINGS RD.
On LE POINT near intersection of LE POINT STREET and CROWN TERRACE
so as to indicate the curve going westerly on LE POINT STREET.
On CROWN TERRACE near intersection of CROWN and LE POINT To indicate
curve going northwely on CROWN TERRACE.
On NEWSOM SPRINGS RD. near curve 600' southerly of CHERRY AVE. going
westerly or southerly on NEWSOM SPRINGS RD.
On VALLEY RD. to indicate the curve 2100' westerly of TRAFFIC WAY when
driving westerly or northerly on VALLEY RD.
On VALLEY RD. to indicate curve 3100' along VALLEY RD. from TRAFFIC WAY
when driving southerly or northerly on VALLEY RD.

indieatingsaid speed zones, and the Ch,ief of Police of the City Df Arroyo Grande
is herewith authorized and directed to install said signs as are neeessary to
indicate ~ properly mark said speed zones as required by law.
