A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE, ABANDON AND CLOSE
A PORTION OF ACACIA STREET IN THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE,
1 COUNTY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
2 WHEREAS, that portion of Acacia Street which is herein-
3 after described is not re~uired for street purposes, and
4 WHEREAS, it also appears that it will be an advantage to
5 the City of Arroyo Grande to close, vacate and abandon said portion
6 of Acacia Street, hereinafter described, and
7 WHEREAS, the said portion of Acacia Street proposed to
8 be abandoned, closed and vacated is described as follows; towit;
9 That certain strip of land designated as Acacia Street,
lying between Blocks 1 and 2 of Tract Number 45, in the
10 City of Arroyo Grande, State of California, as shown on
the map of said Tract, recorded November 22, 1948,in
11 Book 5 at page 68 of Maps in the office of the County
RecorKer of said County, bounded on the north by the
12 prolonged north lines of Lot 20 in Block 1 and Lot 1 in
Block 2 of said Tract, and bounded on the South by the
13 prolonged south lines of Lot 11 in Block 1 and lot 10
in Block 2 of said tract.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED THAT IT IS THE INTEN

TION of the City 60uncil of the City of Arroyo Grande, to vacate,
16
abandon and close up that portion of ACACIA STREET above-described.

IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED AND ORDERED that a hearing shall
18
be held in connection with said intention on the part of sa~d City
19
Council of the City of Arroyo Grande, to vacate, abandon and close
20
that portion of ACACIA STREET, above-described, which said hearing
21 shaU:,be held on the :J.() ~ day of ~' 1954 at the hour

Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, at

which time all persons interested in the proposed vacation, aban-

donment and closing of said portion of said street above-described,

may appear and be heard thereon either by way of objection or other

interest.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED AND ORDERED, that the City Clerk of
29
the City of Arroyo Grande be and she is ordered to cause to be con-
30 spicuously posted along the line of salld portion of said Acacia
31
Street, as is proposed to be vacated, abandoned and closed, at a
32
distance of not more than three hundred (300) feet apart and not les
