RESOLUTION NO. 298
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE,
AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF DEED TO REAL ESTATE.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande,
that the deed of Akira and Masako Saruwatari and :{one and Ayako Saruwatari to
the hereinafter described real property be and the same is herewith ordered 2C~
accepted. Said property is described as follows, to-wit:
That portion of Lot 164 of Parts of the Rancho Corral de Piedra, PisMO and
Bolsa de Chamisal surveyed by Jas. T. Stratton, C. E., September, 1873, according
to map filed for record in the office of the County Recorder of said County,
described in deed to Stone Saruwatari, et al., dated December 14, 1934, and
recorded in Book 158 of Official Records, at page 435, records of said County,
which lies within the boundaries of a strip of land 60 feet in width, lying
40 feet on each side of the following described center line:
Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Grand Avenue and the
Easterly line of Barnett Street as said Avenue and Street are shown on the map
of Western Addition to the Town of Arroyo Grande, filed for record April 10, 1894,
in the office of the County Recorder of said County; thence North 66" 57'
East 419.22 feet to the Easterly line of Lot 105 of said Subdivision for the
true point of beginning; thence from said true point of beginning N 66" 57' E.
755.18 feet to a point; thence N. 210 48' E., 133.40 feet, more or less to the
Southerly line of California State Highway No.2 (U. S. Highway No. 101).
On motion of Councilman Sturges, seconded by Councilman Kerr and on
the following roll call vote, to-wit:
AYES: Councilroen Simpson, Kerr, Kirkpatrick, Burt and Sturges
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution is hereby adopted.
