A RESOLU'l'ION ABANDONING AND CLOSING A PORTION OF
VALLEY ROAD, IN Tllli CITY OF ARROYO Gl~DE, COUNTY
OF SAN LUIS OBISPO, STA'rE OF CALIFOlffiIA.
W;ffiREAS, on the 18th day of March, 1953, the City Council of
the City of Arroyo Grande, at a regular meeting passed a Resolution
of Intention to abandon and close a portion of Valley Road as here-
inafter described; and
1iHEREAS , in conformity with the said Resolution, the City
Clerk, of said City, caused to be conspicuously posted along the
line of said Valley Road, at intervals of not less than three hun-
dred (300) feet in distance apart and not less than three (3) in
all, said notices are as follows:
"NOTICE 01< INTENTION TO VACATE, ABANDON AND CLOSE A POR-
TION OF VALLEY ROAD, IN THE CITY OF A}U,OYO GRANDE,
COUNTY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO, STATE OF CALIFOlffiIA,
Notice is herewith given that the City Council
of the City of Arroyo Grande, intends to vacate, aban-
don and close that portion of Valley Road located in said
City and particularly described as follows, to-wit:
All of that certain real property situate, lying
and being in the City of Arroyo Grande, San Luis
Obispo County, California, and also being a
portion of Valley Road as said road is deline-
ated and designated on a map titled JONES T~lCT
SUBDIVISION filed in the office of the County
Recorder of San Luis Obispo County, California,
and being more particularly described as follows,

of beginning. Less that portion acquired by the
State of California for additional Highway right-
of -way.
The hearing in connection with said intention will be
held on the ~ day of ~h ~J? , 1953, at the
City Hall, in the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis
Obispo, State of California, at the hour of ~ o'clock
P.M., at which time, all persorts interested in the proposed
vacation, abandonment and closing of that portion of Valley
Road may appear and be heard.

and the law, cause a true copy of said Notice to be published, at
least twice, in the Herald_Recorder, a weekly newspaper published and
circulated in the City of Arroyo Grande; and
WHEREAS, no persons appeared at said hearing or objected to the
proposed abandonment in writing or otherwise.
NOli, THEREFORE, IT IS Iilll<EBY ORDERED that portion of Valley
l?oad, in the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State
of California, and hereafter more particularly described, be and the
same is herewith ordered closed, vacated and abandoned, that said
portion of Valley Road referred to is described as follows:
