ORDINANCE NO. 83 C.S.
AN ORDiNANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE CONTRACT BE'IWEEN
THE CITY COUNCIL AND THE BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION OF THE
CALIFORNIA PUBLIC EMPIDYEES I RETIREMENT SYSTEM.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLIDWS:
SECTION 1- That an amendment to the Contract between the City Council of
the City of Arroyo Grande and the Board of Administration, California Public
Employees' Retirement System is hereby authorized, a copy of said amendment being
attached hereto, marked ftExhibit Aft, and by such reference II1Bde a part hereof as
though herein set out in full.
SECTION 2. The Mayor of the City of Arroyo Grande is hereby authorized,
empOwered, and directed to execute said amendment for and on behalf of s~
Agency.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after the
date of its adoption and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days from the
passage thereof shall be published at least once in the Five Cities Times-press-
Recorder, a newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in the
City of Arroyo Grande and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full
force and effect.
On motion of Councilman Talley, seconded by Counci1tnan Wood and on.:the
following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Millis, Talley, Wood and Mayor Schlegel
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman de Leon
the foregoing ordinance was passed and adopted this 24th day of April, 1973.
