AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AMENDING A
PORTION OF THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
REFERRED TO IN SECTION .302 OF TITLE 9, CHAPTER 4 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE SO AS TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That certain Ordinance known as "ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE" is herewith amended as follows:
The "ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE", referred to in Section .302
of Title 9, Chapter 4 of the Municipal Code is amended so that the zones and
boundaries of certain Districts shown therein and thereon are changed so as to be
the zones and boundaries as shown and designated on the Map attached hereto, and
by this reference incorporated herein, which Map is entitled "A SECTION OF THE
ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE, AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 81 C.S. OF THE
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE", and said Map and all notations and references shown thereon
shall be as much a part of this Ordinance as if the matters shown on said Map were
fully described herein, and the Districts and zones and boundaries of the property
shown therein from and after the effective date of the adoptton of this Ordinance.
The properties intended to be rezoned and the changes in the zoning accomplished
hereby are described as follows:
That portion of Subdivisions A and B of Maps of the lands of D.F.
and Anna Newsom, comprising part of the Ranchos Bolsa de Chemisal
and Santa Manuela, according to Surveys of R. R. Harris in 1875,
B. F. Hinchliffe in 1877, and others, in the county of San Lllis
Obispo, State of California, according to Map filed for record
June 5, 1891, in Book A, Page 77 of Maps, in the office of the
county recorder of said cOllnty, described as follows:
Beginning at a point which bears North 43'k deg. West, 478.50 feet
from Post 10 at the most easterly corner of said Lot B; thence
North 43'k deg. West, 867.90 feet to line of Rancho Corral de Piedra;
thence South 43~ deg. West, 363.00 feet; thence South 43'k deg. East,
841.50 feet; thence North 43~ deg. East, 26.40 feet; thence North
43~ deg. East, 328.68 feet to the point of beginning.
Said property is rezoned from RA-B3 Residential Agricultural District to
R-G-D Carden Apartment Residential District. The "D" designation to indicate
maximum density not to exceed 6~ dwelling units per gross acre.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty (30)
days after its passage, and within fifteen (15) days after its passage it shall
be published once, together with the names of the Councilmen voting thereon, in
the Five Cities Times-Press-Recorder.
On motion of Councilman Wood, seconded by Councilman Talley and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Millis, Talley, Wood, de Leon and Mayor Schlegel
