ORDINANCE NO. 55 C. S.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AMENDING
A PORTION OF THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE REFERRED TO IN SECTION .302 OF TITLE 9
CHAPTER 4 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE SO AS TO RE-ZONE
CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: That certain Ordinance known as "ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE" is herewith amended as follows:
The "ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE", referred to in Section .302
of Title 9 Chapter 4 of the Municipal Code is amended so that the zones and
boundaries of certain Districts shown therein and thereon are changed so as
to be the zones sad boundaries as shown and designated on the Map attached here-
to, and by this ref~t'f;\nee incorporated herein, which Map is entitled "A SECTION
OF THE ZONING MAl' OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE, AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 55 C.S.
OF THE CITY OF ARRoyO GRANDE", and said Map and all notations and references
shown thereon shall be as much a part of this Ordinance as if the matters shown
on said Map were all fully described herein, and the Districts and Zones and
Boundaries of the property shown therein from and after the effective date of
the adoption or this Ordinance. The properties intended to be re-zoned and the
changes in the z~lng accomplished hereby are described as follows:
All those p.rtions of Lots 26, 28 and 29 of the Resubdivision of part
of the Rah4hos Corral de Piedra, Pismo and Bolsa de Chemisal,
surveyed W1 R. R. Harris in November 1885, in the City of Arroyo
Grande, county of San Luis Obispo, State of California, according to
map filed for record November 24, 1886, in the office of the County
Recorder of said County, described as a whole as follows:
Beginning at the most Westerly corner of said Lot 28, said corner
being designated "S75" on the map herein referred to; thence North
290 25' East along the Northwest line of said Lot, 206.12 feet to
a point in the center line of a 50 foot road as said road existed
on November 4, 1910; thence along said center line North 540 40' East
428.1 feet, North 8l~0 East 394.1 feet, and South 80 45' East 1025
feet; thence leaving said center line South 290 45' West, 80.6 feet,
South 520 55' West, 56.6 feet, South 80 East, 60.6 feet, South 800
17' West, 150 feet, and South 90 23' East 176 feet to the Southeast
line of said Lot 28; thence along the Southeast line of said Lots
28 and 29 South 58~o West, 526.9 feet to a stake; thence leaving said
Southeast line North 90 44' West, 188.6 feet, South 810 24' West,
250 feet to a point in the center of a 50 foot road as said road
existed on November 4, 19l0;thence along the center of said road North
80 49' West to the southeasterly corner of that property deeded to
the City of Arroyo Grande by deed recorded in Book 211 at Page 263
of Official Records of said County; thence along the southeasterly
boundary of that property deeded to the City of Arroyo Grande, North
640 OS' West 90.00 feet; thence along the westerly boundary of said
property deeded to the City of Arroyo Grande North 250 55' West
301.94 feet to a point on the northwesterly line of said Lot 29; thence
northeasterly along said northwesterly line of Lot 29 to point "S75"
and the point of beginning.
Said property is rezoned from R-A-B-3, Residential Agricultural to
P-D, Planned Development.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty (30)
days after its passage, and within fifteen (15) days after its passage it
shall be published once, together with the names of the Council Members voting
thereon, in the Five Cities Times-Press-Recorder.
On motion of Councilwoman Thompson, seconded by Councilman Talley and on the
following roll cail vote, to wit:
