ORDINANCE NO. 38 C. S.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AMENDING
A PORTION OF THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE REFERRED TO IN SECTION .302 OF TITLE g
CHAPTER 4 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE SO AS TO RE-ZONE
CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That certain Ordinance known as "ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE" is herewith amended as follows:
The "ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE", referred to in Section .302
of Title 9 Chapter 4 of the 1,"'.1icipal Code is amended so that the zones and
boundaries of certain Di strice': shown therein and thereon are changed so as
to be the zones and boundaries as shown and designated on the Map attached here-
to, and by this reference incorporated herein, which Map is entitled "A SECTION
OF THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE, AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 38 C.S.
OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE", and said Map and all notations and references
shown thereon shall be as much a part of this Ordinance as if the matters shown
on said Map were all fully described herein, and the Districts and Zones and
Boundaries of the property shown therein from and after the effective date of
the adoption of this Ordinance. The properties intended to be re-zoned and the
changes in the zoning accomplished hereby are described as follows:
All that portion of Lot 101 of the Subdivisions of the Ranchos
Corral de Piedra, Pismo and Bolsa de Chemisal, in the County of San Luis
Obispo, State of California, according to map filed for record in the
office of the County Recorder of said County, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the Easterly line of County Road No. 28, (Valley
Road), distant thereon South 10 00' West, 697.54 feet from the North line
of said Lot, said point being the Southwesterly corner of the property
conveyed to John W. Dougherty, by deed dated February 24, 1893 and recorded
February 28, 1893 in Book 19, at Page 105 of Deeds; thence continuing South
10 00' West, along said Easterly line, 358.74 feet to the most Northwesterly
corner of the property conveyed to B. W. Colburn, et ux., by deed dated
September 1, 1957 and recorded October 30, 1957 in Book 914, at Page 125
of Official Records; thence South 890 00' East, 290.66 feet; thence South
10 00' West 176.00 feet; thence South 890 00' East 312.57 feet; thence
North 10 00' East 221.00 feet; thence South 890 00' East 274.11 feet; thence
South 420 18' East 469.33 feet; thence North 560 22' 15" West 76.69 feet;
thence North 320 42' 15" East 237.59 feet; thence South 670 21' 15" East
617.03 feet to the Southeasterly line of said Lot 101; thence along said
Southeasterly line of said Lot 101 North 560 22' 15" East 1758.03 feet;
thence leaving said Southeasterly line North 350 30' West 869.22 feet;
thence South 580 40' 02" West 1644.07 feet; thence South 350 31' 43"
East 109.21 feet; thence South 870 35' West 1568.90 feet to the East line
of Valley Road and the point of beginning, excepting therefrom the Westerly
290.66 feet Easterly of and adjacent to said Valley Road.

Said property is rezoned from RA-B3, Residential Agricultural to R-3,
Multiple Family District.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty (30)
days after its passage, and within fifteen (15) days after its passage it shall
be published once, together with the names of the Council Members voting thereon,
in the Five Cities Times-Press-Recorder.
On motion of Councilman Wood , seconded by Counc i I woman
Thompson and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Thompson, Wood and Mayor Levine
NOES: Councilman Talley
ABSENT: Councilman Schlegel
